  1. This is my favorite app and I love the changes it can make to a photo! I love the first phot, so symbolic of all the seasons 🙂

  2. Lovely photos! I love instagram as well and would love to post some of my photos on my (future) blog site. Any tips on how to post instagram photos on your wordpress account? Thanks!

    • Thank you! It’s very easy actually…simply upload the instgram images you want to post from your camera roll to your computer then upload to a post on your blog. Thanks for reading!

    • robertdickinsonphotography says:

you can get the photos from your iphone/ipad/ipod touch at your computer or download the wordpress app and make the post from there

  3. Nothing hurt says:

Gorgeous shots! Thanks for sharing your talent 🙂

  4. Instagram makes me smile, daily.
It’s also great to inspire you & get those creative juices flowing.
J’adore the pier shots and #4.

  5. banbamama says:

Well done, these look great. I only just got an i-phone and have become an instagram addict. How did you get the effect in the 1st photo? Congrats onbeing freshly pressed 🙂

    • Thank you!
The first photo was actually processed four different times and then combined in the app PicFrame. All processing was done with the app camera+ using four different color treatments. The image was shot with iPhone, edited on a iPhone, and then posted on istagram through an iPhone as well. It’s pretty amazing what you can do with your phone now a days.

  6. Beauty in the ordinary. “Through the windscreen” shot is very cinematic. The “under the pier” shot is very mysterious. Who is that man?

  7. Jamie Martin says:

Lovely shots, really cool stuff going on here!

  8. viva loves says:

Love Instagram! Love these shots! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!

  10. Great spiritual shots. Loved the thoughtful and insightful side notes on the blog. The note about the well know comedy star’s death at 48 wouldl also apply to the recent death of a well known singer…. sadly. Possibly broke with 100 million going through their hands in their career? It would be interesting to find out how much of that might have went for drugs.

  11. Cool pictures! Thanks for sharing!

  12. Thank you everyone for all the likes and wonderful comments! If you are on instagram be sure to check out my feed @alexanderpavone for daily posts and more images. Thanks for reading!

  13. Noele Crooks says:

Love all of these! Have you used Lovestagram before? It’s just a little Valentine’s spin off Instagram, made by the co-founder of Instagram’s girlfriend.

  14. G-LO says:

So glad to see that I’m not the only one addicted to Instagram! It’s kinda dangerous though. Every time I’m in the car or walking down the street, I just see everything through Instagram colored lenses. I just want to stop and take a picture of everything. And I wind up doing it more often than not. Crazy fun!

Beautiful shots! My son has the exact same t-shirt.

    Cheers!

  38. Juliemara says:

great photos, I love instagram! Cute kid. He’s wearing a Carters shirt I designed.

    • Thank you! I do believe we got it from carter’s…you really designed that? That’s incredible, and what a small world! I’ve designed shirts for boys and young mens with one of each hitting at retailers like Target and Kohls…I’m fully aware of how hard it is to have designs sell through major retailers. Thanks for reading!

  39. Absolutely stunning, all of them. I especially love the first, taking me on a journey throughout the seasons. You do instagram wonders.

  40. arns23 says:

  43. Beautiful photos! I am a WordPress photographer too. I tried Instagram for a while, but eventually got a nice DSLR and edited them myself. Nevertheless, great job!

  44. this is inspiring…you brought out the best in the app! =D

  45. Gorgeous shots. I’m personally a fan of the fourth one from the top, I love the grittiness. Makes me want to go to California.

    I’ll definitely be following you!

  48. Susie says:

I’ve had little time lately to make dedicated outings with my “real camera”, so have recently undertaken to start snapping with my iPhone more regularly, and it’s been so much fun! A warning though – instagrams are addictive… 🙂 Thanks for sharing yours!
    Susie 🙂

  49. really dig the parking garage shot…the sepia tone contrasting with the deep black spaces (which seem to suggest an abyss) jibe together quite nicely….parking garages have always fascinated me because they serve no other purpose other than to temporarily house cars…so aesthetics do not seem to be important (the cars don’t care about pretty)…also, i dig their angular möbius strip quality…each level blends into the other…reminds me of m.c. escher’s ‘ascending and descending’…

  50. Dika Ap says:

    wow really cool man 🙂

  51. kboehnlein says:

beautiful photos! I love the colors you’ve achieved in the first shot…and I like the relation to the seasons that one of the commenters pointed out!

    Thank you

  62. Jamie Martin says:

I don’t know much about instagram. I thought it was just an app for sharing photos. Were these all edited within the app or were other ones used? for example the first one with the tree

    • speakersgold says:

Instegram allows you to put different effects photos as well as share them. Though I think some people edit their photos using software like Photoshop before they import it into Instegram.

      • Not as much as you would think. There are so many diiferent ways you can shoot and edit all with an iPhone I would venture to say that almost all instagram shots are done solely on an iPhone. All of these shots were taken and edited with an iPhone. I use a ton of different apps tho shoot and edit with. Some of my favorites include PicFrame, Picfx, snapseed, Photo Power, Big Lens, Vintage Cam, Phonto and Slow Shutter.

    • I use a combination of PicFrame, Picfx, snapseed, and/or Camera+. Since I found the fun in editing all on my iPhone, I tend to upload to instagram using no filter to share.

  63. Sajan says:

These are really amazing. I always wanted to use instagram but I don’t have iphone. I hope they develop it for Android soon.

  64. amylou2x says:

Beautiful shots. I challenged myself to a 366 project using my iphone and Instagram and it’s fun, but I’d like to explore more apps. I have Instagram and camera+, what are a couple of other apps that you really like?

    • I use PicFrame, Picfx, snapseed, Photo Power, Big Lens, Vintage Cam, Phonto and/or Slow Shutter. Some other apps I have heard great things about are Photo Shake, Photo Froge2, and Color Process. Thanks for reading!

  65. sportsjim81 says:

I’m way late to the Instagram party, but recently downloaded the app and am now slightly addicted. If I could Instagram a screen shot of my Angry Birds level, I could die happy!

    Great pics by the way!

serious talent here. Wow I am very impressed.
    great shots!

  67. These are some very astonishing shots and strongly urge me towards purchasing an iphone purely for instagram; however I will point out my favourites. The first shot with the four colours shows huge consideration of the colour scheme and purpose, but the black and white shot of the child really draws me to it with the gaze, definitely fine use of instagram!

  68. Beautiful shots. I so wish blackberry would improve their camera and have an ‘instagram’ version as the photos are spectacular via instagram.

  69. baki says:

I like the cable tower shot best. Plain subject, made unforgettable!

  70. dressupforme says:

  74. joiedegrace says:

I am inspired to do so much more with my Instagram now! i’ve just been taking food pictures… I enjoyed your photography so much I added you on my Google reader & followed on Twitter. i have a couple questions if you don’t mind–
    1) how did you get the effect on the first photo?
    2) i’m a VERY novice photographer.. as in the most i’ve done is had the desire to learn & capture moments around me. any tips?

oh & i’m usually a proponent of PUPPIES > BABIES but your kid is too cute 😀
    congrats on freshly pressed!
    -g

    • Thank you for reading and subscribing!

The first shot was edited/processed four different times in the app Camera+. I then combined then all in the app PicFrame and removed the borders/edges to have the photo seamlessly merge together.

I would say to just start looking for out of the ordinary things/places/scenery to take shots of. Take a shot of a person in front of a sunset to catch their silhouette or shoot things like concrete, woodgrain, car tires, light fixtures, etc. As soon as you can find the beauty in the in-ordinary, you will realize your skills will improve. A concept I’m working on myself!

  75. mattrecepies says:

The sixth foto needs a few birds hanging on the cables!

  76. Dianda says:

Instagram is the reason I want an Iphone.
